PITTSBURGH - Duquesne head women's soccer coach Al Alvine has introduced the incoming Class of 2018.

"This is a group of new comers that will be very exciting to watch. They address needs that we have in every area of the team and we will be looking for these young ladies to be contributors from day one. It's not enough, obviously, to be good soccer players," said Alvine.

The 14-member class has eight players from Pennsylvania - including six WPIAL players, three from New York, two from Maryland and one from Virginia.

"We are looking for these student-athletes to excel in the classroom and be stellar representatives of our program, athletic department and the Duquesne University community. I'm sure this class of 2018 will do all of those things!"
