Dukes to face Colonials Thursday at 7:00pm

Duquesne (5-5-1, 1-2-1 A-10) will host George Washington (6-5-1, 2-2-0) at Rooney Field Thursday at 7:00pm. The Dukes dropped a heartbreaking 2-1 overtime match on Sunday to VCU and the Colonials are coming off a 2-1 victory at St. Bonaventure.

THE SERIES
GW leads the tight-knit series 9-8-3 that started in 1995. The Dukes hold a 5-4-2 edge in matches played at Rooney Field. The teams have met in the Atlantic 10 Championship the last two years with the Colonials winning 2-1 in 2016 and the Dukes 1-0 in 2017. Both matches were decided in double overtime. In fact, the last five matches between the two squads have gone into overtime with George Washington holding a 2-1-2 advantage.
