QUICK RECAP:
Sophomore Austin Stout scored with five seconds left in overtime to give Duquesne a 1-0 win over Canisius in the final game of the Duquesne Invitational on Rooney Field. The win upped the Dukes record to 3-2, while Canisius fell to 2-4. The game was even throughout, before Jallah Acqui pushed the ball down the right side to Zach Hall who ran it down and sent a pass to the center of the field while sliding toward the end line. Stout took the pass and put the ball past Marco Trivellato to give the Dukes the win. Senior goalkeeper Evan Kozlowski, who was named Invitational MVP, finished with four saves for Duquesne. Both teams had chances in the extra period. Canisius' Mathew Santos, who was named to the 10-man All Tournaement Team, could barely get a foot on a cross from Melvin Blair with 3:15 left. Shortly afterward, Duquesne's Chris Alescio, another All-Tournament Team pick, cleared the ball after a Canisius free kick from 20 yards out. Duquesne's Zach Hall sent a header on net with 1:30 to go before Stout closed the door with his first career goal. Duquesne outshot Canisius 13-12, including 6-4 on goal. Hall led the Dukes with three shots. DU had six corners to four for Canisius. Stout and Fredrik Borenstein, who had the game-winner in Duquesne's opening round 2-1 win over Wofford on Friday, joined Alescio and Kozlowski on the All-Tournament Team.

They are an extremely hard group of guys to beat, and that comes from the mentality that they bring out on the field. It was 90 minutes, plus a little extra, of hard work, and they didn't back down. Wofford 2, Bucknell 1 | Wofford (4-2-0), Bucknell (1-4-1)
Wofford got goals from Sure Andreas (29') and Matthew Aurednik (35') to defeat Bucknell, 2-1, in the third game of the Duquesne Invitational. Sebastian Blickman scored in the 52nd minute for Bucknell. Bucknell outshot Wofford 16-11 (5-4 on goal), but could only one shot behind Terriers' keeper Garrett Close who finished with three saves.
