NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Duquesne women's soccer team has been picked to finish sixth in the Atlantic 10 Conference's preseason poll conducted by the league's 14 head coaches.
The defending A-10 champions (12-10-1, 5-5-0) received 132 points - including one first place vote - just two behind fourth place La Salle (134) and fifth place Saint Joseph's (133). Dayton (185) was picked to finish first. George Washington (173) and VCU (153) round out the top three.
