Clare Hurley scored three goals and Kaelin Shaw added a pair as Duquesne won it's fourth straight contest, defeating visiting La Salle, 10-8 Sunday afternoon on Rooney Field.
The Dukes improve to 10-8 overall and 3-1 in Atlantic 10 play while La Salle falls to 6-6, 2-2.
The Red and Blue opened the game with a 4-0 lead in the first seven and a half minutes on goals by Tess Drotar, Jill Vacanti and two by Hurley. La Salle responded though with three straight goals and eventually tied the score at 5-5 with 9:52 remaining in the first half.
Duquesne though, scored the final three goals of the half to take an 8-5 lead into the intermission.
The Dukes however, would not score a goal for the first 24:34 of the second stanza until Kaitlyn DeHaven found the back of the net with 5:26 left.
La Salle made it interesting by scoring with 4:07 remaining to make it 9-8 by Hurley put it out of reach by scoring with 1:54 to go.
Jenna Bishop made six saves for DU while Hurley had a game-high two caused turnovers. Three Dukes each had two draw controls.
The Dukes return to action on Friday, April 17 as they travel to George Washington for a 3:00 pm contest.
