NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - The Duquesne men's tennis team swept the Atlantic 10 Conference weekly awards - Tim Kane was named Rookie of the Week and Rich Robbie Player of the Week.

Kane wins his first A-10 honor after winning his conference match against T.J. DeSanto of St. Bonaventure 6-2, 6-7, 10-2.

Robbie, who earns his third all-time A-10 honor, Robbie made a comeback at #1 against Eduardo Irizarry after dropping the 1st set 6-3 to win the next two sets 7-5 and 6-3. Robbie was Rookie of the Week on Feb. 27, 2012 and Player of the Week on April 1, 2014.

The duo were also 8-5 winners at #2 doubles over Hector Martinez and Andrew Blair.

Duquesne (8-4, 1-0 A-10) are home this weekend to face Saint Joseph's on Saturday.
