PITTSBURGH - Duquesne head women's soccer coach Al Alvine has announced his 2015 recruiting class.
"We are thrilled to announce these additions to the Duquesne women's soccer family for 2015," said Alvine. "These young ladies will add genuine quality in every position and compliment a very strong and committed group of returning players. They've all enjoyed great success at the high school and club level so we're looking forward to each of them bringing that winning mentality and attitude to the Bluff in the fall."
The class of eight student-athletes is comprised of players from four states (Massachusetts, Pennsylvania (3), New York, Virginia) and one Canadian province (Ontario).
"Their achievements on the field are matched by their impressive accomplishments in the classroom so we are incredibly proud of this group on several levels. Each one of these student-athletes has the ability to make a big contribution immediately so it will make the competition for places on the field more intense than we've ever seen here at Duquesne."
