QUICK RECAP: The Duquesne women's tennis team dropped a 5-2 decision to the University of Pittsburgh on Saturday afternoon. The Panthers opened the match up by winning the doubles point. Pitt started singles by winning at the #5 and #3 sports. Sarah Shashura got the Dukes on the board by winning 6-3, 6-3 at #6. Chandler Consonery made the score 3-2 after a 6-2, 6-3 win at #4. However Pitt's Taylor Washington held off Alexa Miller 6-4, 4-6, 6-2 at #2 to clinch the match.
UP NEXT: The Dukes have a two game road trip this upcoming weekend. On Friday, they travel to Delaware followed by an A-10 Conference match at Saint Joseph's on Saturday.
