Men's Tennis Splits Matches

The Duquesne men's tennis team split a pair of matches this past weekend. The Dukes were 5-2 winners over St. Bonaventure and fell to Buffalo 5-1.

In Friday's match against the Bonnies, DU started out trailing after SBU took the doubles point. However, Duquesne won five of the six singles matches. After losing the first set 6-4, Rich Robbie won the next two sets 2-and-2 at #1 singles. Corey Robinson was a straight set winner at #3 6-4, 6-2. Max Rubin cruised at #4 6-0, 6-1. Ben Klaas won at #5 6-2, 6-2.

In the match against Buffalo, only singles was played due to scheduling issues. Alex Aleman was the Dukes' long winner, taking a 7-6 (8), 6-4 win at #4.

Duquesne (7-3) remains on the road to face Detroit on Mar. 1st.
