Men's tennis coach Rob Castille recently announced that sophomore Pete Carpenter and junior Ben Klaas have been named team co-captains for the 2012 season.
"I am very pleased to announce that Pete Carpenter and Ben Klaas have been named captains for the 2012 season," said Castille. "Both Pete and Ben demonstrated great leadership this fall and it made the decision to name them captains very easy."
"We have a fairly young team and I am confident that they will be great role models on and off the court for the rest of the team," Castille continued. "I am looking forward to seeing them lead this team to a successful season."
The Dukes open the spring portion of their season this evening as they travel to Cleveland State for a 7:00 pm match before traveling to Detroit for a 5:00 pm match on Saturday.
