Women's Soccer Add Claire Wilkinson to 2011 Roster

PITTSBURGH - Duquesne University head women's soccer coach Tim Zundel has announced the addition of Claire Wilkinson to the 2011 Roster.

The 5-5 forward from Oakland, Md. comes to Duquesne from Southern Garrett High School where earned back-to-back MVP honors her junior and senior years. Wilkinson led the Rams in scoring and earned First-Team All-Area in 2008, 2009 and 2010. She capped her career by being named the 2010 AMAC Defensive Player of the Year and to the 2010 Cumberland Times News All-Area team.



Wilkinson led her club team - Charleston Elite FC - to the 2010 West Virginia State championship. She also played for the West Virginia Wild Things and led them to the West Virginia State finals from 2007-09.

Wilkinson joins Taylor Cummings, Kahli Hale, Autumn Oakes, Katie Rust and Devon Tabata as the Class of 2011.
