PITTSBURGH - Director of Athletics Greg Amodio announced today that Duquesne University and Clear Channel have reached a three-year agreement that will move Dukes men's basketball games to WPGB-FM 104.7 FM beginning with the 2010-11 season.

The agreement includes a 15 minute pregame and 30 minute post-game show for each men's basketball broadcast. In addition, Fox Sports Radio 970 AM will air coaches shows featuring head men's coach Ron Everhart, head women's coach Suzie McConnell-Serio and head football coach Jerry Schmitt.

"Our partnership with Clear Channel will not only provide our fans with a high-quality FM signal, but also includes a significant expansion of Duquesne-based programming including increased game day coverage and coaches shows," said Amodio. "We are excited to expand our visibility in western Pennsylvania and beyond. We look forward to the opportunities that our relationship with Clear Channel will bring."

This is the first time since 1997-1998 through 1999-2000 (WDUQ-FM 90.5) that Duquesne men's basketball will air on the FM dial. The WPGB-FM signal thoroughly covers western Pennsylvania in addition to reaching into portions of eastern Ohio as well as the West Virginia panhandle.

All men's basketball games also will be streamed for free online at GoDuquesne.com (courtesy of RedZoneMedia.com) and WPGB.com, the official web site of 104.7 FM. Red Zone Media, which also streams Duquesne women's basketball and Dukes' football, will also archive all games at its site.

Pittsburgh Clear Channel currently carries the NFL Pittsburgh Steelers (WDVE-FM 102.5), the NHL Pittsburgh Penguins (WXDX-FM 105.9 FM) and MLB Pittsburgh Pirates (WPGB-FM 104.7 FM).
