AMHERST, Mass. - With a total score of 50.25, the Duquesne women's track and field team finished seventh out of 12 teams at the 2010 Atlantic 10 Championship held on the campus of the University of Massachusetts this weekend.
Four Dukes won a total of six medals, highlighted by Ashley Adams' gold medal in the discus with a career-best throw of 153-2.
Melissa Miller picked up a pair of medals - a silver in the 400m with a season-best time of 54.90 and a bronze in the 200, also with a season-best time of 24.52.
Katie Kelly won two bronze medals in the 3000m Steeplechase with a season-best time of 10:44.27 and the 5000m crossing in 17:26.24.
Katelyn Cass picked up a bronze in the pole vault with a career-high jump of 11-7.75.
