LEWISBURG, Pa. - The Duquesne women's track and field team finished third out of seven teams at the 2010 Bucknell Heptagonal. The Dukes captured five event wins and had a number of outstanding performances, but it was Shippensburg that came away with the team title at the 2010 Bucknell Heptagonal on Saturday afternoon.

Melissa Miller qualified for the ECAC Championships after her first place time of 56.44 in the 400m. The time was also a new indoor school record, breaking the previous time of 57.72 held by Erica Moody in 2007.

Katelyn Cass took first place in the Flight 1 triple jump with a distance of 35-2.5.

Taylor Glenn had a pair of first place finishes - Section 2 of the 400m (1:01.93) and Section 4 of the 200m (27.16).

Up next for DU is the Penn State National Open. The all day event begins in the morning on Sat., Jan. 29th.
