Women's Track Competes at Penn State Indoor Relays

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Duquesne women's track and field team participated in the Penn State Indoor Relays this weekend.

The event was highlighted by Arin Whitman's first place finish in the weight throw with a distance of 53-1. The 4x200 team of Kristin Wenthen, Diane Durkin, Taylor Glenn and Melissa Miller finished second, crossing in 1:45.19. Sarah Cappo placed third in the high jump with a distance of 5-3.

Up next for the Dukes is the Doug Raymond Invitational. The event is held on the campus of Kent State University and will be Sat. Jan. 16.
