MONROEVILLE - The Duquesne women's tennis team fell to defending Atlantic 10 Conference Champion Temple, 6-1, at the Club 4 Life Friday evening. The Dukes fall to 5-9 on the season heading into Tuesday's match at Youngstown Stats.
After dropping the doubles point, the Dukes could only win one of the six singles points - a Rachel McGowan 6-2, 6-1 victory at the #2 spot.
After Tuesday's match against the Penguins, DU will finish the A-10 season on the road at Dayton on Mar. 27th and Xavier the following afternoon. The regular season concludes April 1st against cross-town rival Pittsburgh.
