Results

Duquesne senior runner Tom Slosky captured fifth place of 46 runners in the 1,500 meter event at the 2008 IC4A Championship. Slosky, who qualified for Sunday's finals with a time of 3:48.89 on Saturday, ran a 3:48.70 on Sunday, just 0.37 off his school record time.

He will now begin to prepare for the NCAA East Regional to be held May 30-31 in Tallahassee, Fla. Slsky will be competing in the 3,000 meter steeplechase.

In other action on Saturday, the 4x800 relay team finished in 16th place with a time of 7:45.71.
