Duquesne's men's tennis team split a pair of weekend decisions in new York, losing at St. John's, 4-2 on Saturday and winning at Manhattan, 6-1 on Sunday.
Senior Michael Ortega and sophomore Jeremy McClelland each went 3-1 on the weekend while sophomore Gustavo Villares went 3-0. Ortega won both of his matches at number two singles and split his matches at first doubles. McClelland was 2-0 at third singles and 1-1 at third doubles while Villares was 2-0 at sixth singles and 1-0 at second doubles.
The Dukes travel to Indiana this weekend to face Butler and IUPUI on Friday and will take on Saint Louis at Butler on Saturday.
