KENT, OHIO - Charlene Garth had an excellent weekend at the Doug Raymond Open. The junior sprinter took first place in the 400 meter dash with a time of 59.90 and was on the first place 4x400 meter relay team along with Melissa Miller, Kathleen Parker and Erica Moody that finished 4:02.21.

Individually, Miller had a third place finish in the 200 meter dash (26.20) and Parker crossed in 2:19.99 in the 800 meter run

Merritt Woods, Sarah Cappo and Amanda all had a high jump of 4-11 which was good for the trio to tie for third place finish. Daniela Siciliano placed second in the pole vault (10-11.75). Sierra Larsuel's long jump of 17-00 was second and her distance of 32.90 was good for third place.

Next up for the track and field team is the Penn State National Jan. 25-26.
