BOSTON, MA - Amy Ruffolo and Samantha Howard were Duquesne's representatives in the ECAC Indoor Track & Field Championships held at the Reggie Lewis Track on the campus of Roxbury Community College.
Ruffolo's time of 9:44.26 was good for 11th place in 3000 Meter Run. In addition to her finish, she broke the school record she previously set by over 11 seconds.
Howard's time of 17:20.23 earned her 19th place in the 5000 Meter Run as she shattered the old time by over 24 seconds that has stood since 2001.
This event concluded the indoor season. After a two-week break, the Dukes will begin the outdoor season March 23 and 24 in Richmond, Va. for the Fred Hardy Invitational.
