The Duquesne Dukes women's soccer team begins their spring season on March 5th, as they travel to Scotland and England to face two of the premier teams in their respective countries. Duquesne University Head Coach James Walker calls the opportunity, "a great bonding experience for the women and also a great learning experience for them from both a soccer and cultural standpoint."
While in Scotland the Dukes will be attending a soccer match between Hibernian and the Glasgow Rangers on March 4th. On March 5th they will begin competition with a match versus Glasgow, who is currently atop the standings of the Scottish Premier League. Duquesne will then travel to England where on March 7th they will watch a match between Manchester United and Lille of the Champions League. They conclude their trip with a match on March 10th against Charlton Athletic of the English Premier League.
