PITTSBURGH, PA - The Duquesne Women's basketball team fell to 7-14, 2-6 after their 74-65 Atlantic 10 Conference loss to Fordham Sunday afternoon. Loui Hall's double-double of 21 points and a game best 11 rebounds paced the Dukes. Kristi Little, who missed Friday's game at La Salle due to injury, came off the bench to score 17 points in just 23 minutes. Jocelyn Chandler led DU with five assists.

Lisa Carroll led the game with 25 points, 16 of which came from the charity stripe.

Fordham came out of the gates in the first 6:19 on a 13-5 run behind a pair of three-balls from the Rams' Beth Troutt.

A pair of Hall foul shots closed the gap to 16-14 with 8:36 ticking, but a 10-2 Fordham run put the Rams up 26-16 with 4:08 to go in the first half.

The Red & Blue got within one point (26-25) at the 2:12 mark on a trey by Little, but Fordham ran off seven unanswered until Hall's lay-up with four seconds closed the first stanza with DU trailing 33-27.

Fordham out-shot Duquesne .367 (11-30) to .333 (10-30) from the field and out rebounded the Dukes 21-19. The Red & Blue was a perfect 4-4 from the foul line while the Rams hit 5-6.

The Fordham lead got as high as 14 points (62-48) with 7:06 ticking in the second half. The Dukes narrowed the lead to four after a 12-2 run in the next 3:36 to trail 64-60 at the 3:30 mark. The teams exchanged points over the next 2:51 to make the score 69-65 in the Rams' favor with 28 seconds remaining. However, with Fordham already in the double-bonus, the Dukes had no choice but to foul as the Rams (3-20, 1-8) converted on five of six free throws to end game 74-65 and snap a 14-game losing streak.

Fordham out-shot Duquesne .385 (20-52) to .373 (22-59). The Dukes out rebounded the Rams 40-35. The Red & Blue hit 15-18 (.833) from the line while Fordham was 24-29 (.385).
