The Duquesne women's soccer team suffered a 1-0 loss at Dayton (6-3-3, 4-0-0 A-10) Friday evening in an Atlantic 10 bout. The Dukes' Ginny Bondi had a match-best 11 saves as they saw an end to a two-match winning streak. Audra Mathews and Faye Rassmusen had four shots each.

Dayton's Dara Elk hit the lone score of the game in the 40th minute to give the Flyers the win. Dayton has won its last five matches and out-shot the Dukes 18-11.

Duquesne returns to play this Sunday in a 1:00 pm Atlantic 10 match at Xavier.
