University Park, Pa. - Duquesne University's women's indoor track and field team Saturday completed the second day of competition at the Penn State National Meet at the Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track.

On day two, the Dukes competed in the 800, 1,000 and 3,000 meter races. Senior Tara Gerlach paced her distance medlay teammates with a 14th place finish of 3:01.83 in the 1,000 meters.

Next weekend, the Dukes are scheduled to compete in the New Balance Collegiate Invitational in Manhattan, New York, N.Y. and the Akron Open in Ohio.
