Duquesne University freshman Shannon Rengers (Mt. Lebanon, PA/Mt. Lebanon) was named the Atlantic 10 Women's Soccer Co-Rookie of the Week for her performance in the Duquesne Invitational Sept. 9-11.

Rengers scored three goals, including the game-winner in Friday's 7-0 blanking of Vermont and scored the game-winning goal in overtime in Sunday's 2-1 triumph over Alabama A&M. She currently leads the Dukes with 13 points on six goals and one assist.

The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, Sept. 16 as they face Saint Louis at 8:00 pm in the first round of the Saint Louis Tournament.
