Head Coach James Walker and his staff hosted the first annual Duquesne women's soccer alumni weekend April 9-10 welcoming back more than 30 former players, coaches and staff back to The Bluff.

The event was the first ever alumni gathering which gave the current and past players and staff a chance to get together celebrate being a part of the Duquesne soccer family.

"We had a really good turnout for our Alumni event and we hope it is the first of many more to come," said current head coach James Walker. "The older players were wonderful and had a great time telling stories of the past to this year's team. It's was excellent opportunity for everyone to mingle and get to know each other and history of Duquesne women's soccer. We are already looking forward to next year's event."

The weekend began with a social Saturday night and concluded with the alumni taking on the Dukes in a scrimmage Sunday afternoon on Rooney Field.
