Duquesne University freshman middle distance runner Tom Slosky (Brackenridge, PA/Highlands) has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference's Men's Track and Field Rookie of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday.

Slosky won the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the Bucknell Outdoor Classic setting a Duquesne record with an IC4A qualifying time of 9:13.22.

This marks the Dukes' third A-10 honor of the season as senior Chuck Mohan (Monroeville, PA/Gateway) was named Performer of the Week on March 21 and Ryan Shaver (Southwick, MA/Southwick-Tolland) was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week on April 4.

Duquesne returns to action on Saturday, April 23 as the Dukes compete in the Bucknell Five-Way.
