The Duquesne University women's soccer team received its first ever regional ranking in school history as the Dukes are ranked 15th in the Mid-Atlantic region by Soccer Buzz magazine.

Head Coach James Walker's Dukes (9-2-1, 4-1-0 Atlantic 10) are currently on a four-game winning streak, following their weekend victories over Saint Joseph's (2-1) and Temple (2-0).

Freshman forward Shannon Rengers (Pittsburgh, PA/Mt. Lebanon) leads the team in scoring with 16 points on seven goals and two assists followed by sophomore midfielder Audra Mathews (Cincinnati, OH/Saint Ursula Academy) with 15 points on four goals and seven assists. Both players have two game-winning goals to their credit. Junior goalkeeper Virginia Bondi (Strongsville, OH/Strongsville) boasts a 1.13 goals against average and has three shutouts.
