Duquesne University freshman forward Michelle Esposito (Pittsburgh, PA/Chartiers Valley) has been named the Atlantic 10 Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week for the week ending Oct. 9.

Esposito played a part in both of Duquesne's weekend road victories. She scored the game-winning goal in the 87th minute of Friday's 2-1 win at Saint Joseph's and scored her third goal of the year in Sunday's 2-0 triumph at Temple.

The Red and Blue return to action on Friday, Oct. 14 as they travel to Massachusetts for a 3:00 pm contest.
