Philadelphia, Pa. - Duquesne University's men's outdoor track and field team captured a first place finish in the distance medal relay at the 110th Annual Penn Relays in Franklin Field. The squad of sophomore Zack Dorman (Imperial, PA / West Allegheny), junior Luchin Lee (Pittsburgh, PA / Peabody), junior Joe Winans (Pittsburgh, PA / Baldwin) and sophomore Gary Malinko (Old Forge, PA / Scranton Prep) grabbed the 10-team section 2 race with a time of 9:56.93, beating the University of Connecticut by over three seconds.

Junior Chuck Mohan's (Monroeville, PA / Gateway) discuss throw of 48.37 meters (158' 8") was good for seventh place in the 26-man competition Friday afternoon.

The 2004 Penn Relay Carnival concludes on Saturday.
