Results

The Temple Owls defeated Duquesne's women's tennis team by a 6-1 score Monday at the Oxford Athletic Club in Monroeville, Pa.

Freshman Jackie Hughes (McKeesport, Pa. / McKeesport) gained another singles win, this time over the Owls' Lara Ercegovic. Hughes has improved her singles record to 16-2 in her first year with the Dukes.

Senior Katie Riedinger (Plum Borough, Pa. / Plum) and junior Julie Wagner (Erie, Pa. / General McLane) gave the Dukes one win in the three-match doubles competition.

The Dukes head to Washington, D.C. for a 10 a.m. match on Friday, March 26, 2004 against the George Washington Colonials.
