The Duquesne University men's tennis team opened the 2004-05 campaign by taking one victory in its first three macthes. The Dukes opened the season with a 5-2 triumph at Robert Morris on Sept. 26 before falling 5-2 at home to Wright State on Oct. 2 and losing 4-3 at Youngstown State on Oct. 3.
Freshman Adam Townsend is leading the Dukes with a perfect 6-0 record, going 3-0 at number five singles and 3-0 at number three doubles. Junior Rob Ojeda is right behind at 5-1 with a 2-1 mark at number six singles and a 3-0 mark with Townsend at third doubles.
The Dukes return to the court this weekend as they compete in the Bucknell Invitational.
