Duquesne University's 2002 women's soccer recruiting class has been ranked among the Top 100 in the nation by Soccer Buzz Magazine.

Second-year head coach Dawn Crow's class consisting of Erica Carey (Fr., M, Wilmington, N.C./J.T. Hoggard), Andrea Cragen (Fr., D, Winston-Salem, N.C./Mt. Tabor), Sara Eates (Fr., GK, Washington, Pa./Trinity), Martine Gilbert (Fr., M, Wilmington, N.C./J.T. Hoggard) Katie McCarter (Fr., D, Oakville, Ontario/White Oaks) and Dana Stimmel (Jr., D, Monroeville, Pa./Gateway - transfer from Seton Hall) was also tabbed as the 11th-best among 45 teams in the Mid-Atlantic region.
