Duquesne University junior Micael Lopez-Acevedo (Guaynabo, PR/Colegio Marista) was named the Atlantic 10 Men's Tennis Player of the Week.

Lopez went 3-0 in singles action at the Dayton Invitational to capture the Flight A title. He defeated Dayton's D.J. Gebhart, 6-4, 0-6, 6-3, Wright State's Brian Butt, 6-0, 6-0 and Dayton's Rob Altenau, 6-4, 6-1.

The Dukes return to action on Saturday, Oct. 19 as they host Georgetown at 1:30 pm and Youngstown State at 6:00 pm on Towers Courts.
