- Last Time Out: Duquesne placed second in the inaugural Duquesne Cup. Four Dukes finished in the top 20 and eight in the top half of the 57-athlete field, led by sophomore Catherine Staley's 12th-place finish.
- Preseason Poll: Duquesne was voted No. 10 in the Division I College Triathlon Coaches Association's (CTCA) Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- Up Next: The Dukes will host the fourth annual Duquesne Invitational on Sept. 19–20 as part of the Beaver County Tri Cup presented by Jenny Lee Swirl Bread at Brady's Run Park in Beaver Falls. It will also serve as the program's first Senior Day, honoring six seniors following the race.
