Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Duquesne University triathlon team hosts its first Senior Day on Saturday as part of the annual Duquesne Invitational at Brady's Run Park in Beaver Falls.

• Back at Brady's Run: Duquesne opened the season Aug. 30 by placing second at the inaugural Duquesne Cup. Four Dukes finished in the top 20 and eight placed in the top half of the 57-athlete field, led by sophomore Catherine Staley's 12th-place finish. Saturday marks the first time Duquesne has hosted two races in the same season.
• National Rankings: The College Triathlon Coaches Association (CTCA) ranks seven Dukes among the top 100 individual athletes entering Saturday's race: No. 23 Daria Ermolova, No. 47 Catherine Staley, No. 54 Isabella Fernández Aguirre, No. 69 Rachele Lavagno, No. 75 Kate Potashnik, No. 97 Robyn Hunt and No. 100 Vivien Mattice. Duquesne is ranked No. 7 nationally among 35 collegiate triathlon programs.
• Senior Day: Duquesne will honor its inaugural senior class following the completion of the two NCAA waves, with the ceremony scheduled for approximately 10:30 a.m.
• Up Next: The Dukes travel to Annapolis, Maryland, for the Navy Collegiate Cup on Oct. 4.
