Daria Ermolova won the Navy Collegiate Cup on Saturday, leading the Duquesne University triathlon team to a second-place finish and her second consecutive individual victory.

The event was modified to a duathlon Saturday morning, featuring two run portions separated by a 19k bike course. Ermolova led the Dukes in all three splits, recording an 8:19 opening run, a 32:55 bike and a 16:26 final run to finish in 58:23.2.
Ermolova was one of just two athletes to complete the course in under an hour and won the race by more than 90 seconds. Her final run was the fastest in the field by 20 seconds, while her opening run and bike splits each ranked second.
Duquesne finished second in the team standings with 278 points, just behind TCU's 286.
Sophomore
Catherine Staley (1:01:09.3) and senior
Kate Potashnik (1:01:15.6) both finished in the top 10, while first year
Isabella Fernández Aguirre followed in 11th at 1:01:25.2. Senior
Robyn Hunt completed the Dukes' scoring five with a 16th-place finish in 1:01:45.7.
Staley (8:21, fourth), Potashnik (8:23, sixth) and Fernández Aguirre (8:27, eighth) each posted top-10 opening-run splits. Potashnik added the third-fastest final run of the race in 17:03, while Hunt recorded the fifth-fastest bike split in 33:25.
