For the afternoon race, the nine athletes dueled against Georgetown's second varsity 8, ending the day with a pair of second place finishes.

FIRST AND SECOND VARSITY 4
Starting off the fours was the Duquesne first varsity 4 racing against George Washington's top four boat. Throughout the race the five Dukes stayed competitive and finished eight seconds behind. In the afternoon, the first varsity 4 competed against Georgetown and closed its gap between George Washington's times, which raced in the heat seven minutes before the Dukes. The final race of the day was the second varsity 4, which went up against the second and third varsity 4 for George Washington. The Dukes stayed in between the boats and earned a second place finish.
