Pittsburgh, Pa. – A total of 294 student-athletes from Duquesne University that compete in 16 Atlantic 10 sports were named to the 2024-25 A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll Monday.
Earning academic distinction from the Atlantic 10 for the 2024-25 academic year were a total of 4,048 student-athletes, marking the sixth consecutive year that the total number of honorees exceeded 3,500. The Atlantic 10 average number of honorees per school is 289, while a total of 406 student-athletes tallied a perfect 4.00 grade point average (GPA) for the latest academic year.
A total of 38 Dukes across 11 sports posted a perfect 4.00 GPA during the 2024-25 academic year, led by women's cross country and track & field with 10 student-athletes. Included for Duquesne cross country and track & field were grad students

The top three sports for the Atlantic 10 to be honored include women's cross country and track & field (521), men's cross country and track & field (422) and women's soccer (390), while the highest class represented is seniors with a total of 1,084 student-athletes. In all, a total of 2,784 student-athletes represented recorded a GPA of 3.50 or higher during the 2024-25 academic year.
Designed to recognize excellence in the classroom, a student-athlete in a sport sponsored by the A-10 at a full-member institution must have combined fall and spring semester of 3.0 or higher for the academic year to be selected to the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
