Tre Dinkins III hit a three-pointer vs. VCU (March 4) with 18 seconds remaining that helped keep his streak of double-figure scoring games intact, as he finished with 10 points against the Rams while also dishing out a game-high five assists. Dinkins III enters the 2024-25 regular-season finale at Saint Louis Saturday having scored in double figures in 15 consecutive games, a stretch in which he has hit at least one three-pointer in each contest while producing averages of 15.4 points, 2.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. Dinkins III owns the longest double-figure scoring streak by a member of the Dukes since former guard Aaron Jackson (2005-09) closed out his career by scoring 10 or more points in each of his final 22 games on the Bluff during the 2008-09 season. Included in that stretch for Jackson was a 46-point effort in a 116-108 double overtime loss at Virginia Tech (March 18, 2009) in the first round of the National Invitation Tournament (NIT). Dinkins III enters Saturday's game at Saint Louis ranked ninth in the Atlantic 10 in both three-point field goals made per game (2.47) and three-point field goal percentage (.394) and is just one triple shy of becoming the ninth player in program history to hit at least 75 three-pointers in a season.

Run With The Pack – Maximus Edwards provided a spark for Duquesne early in the second half of its game against VCU (March 4), as out of a timeout and the Dukes facing their largest deficit, 45-31, he scored 11 consecutive points in under two minutes to close the deficit to four, 46-42, with 14:46 to play and force the Rams to call a 30-second timeout. Eli On The Block – Sophomore forward
Eli Wilborn has developed into a solid post presence for the Dukes in recent weeks, as he matched a season high in scoring against VCU (March 4) with 14 points. He converted six of his eight attempts from the field against the Rams and also grabbed six rebounds, including a pair on the offensive glass. Wilborn, who is one of nine Dukes this season to have started at least 10 games, enters Duquesne's 2024-25 regular-season finale Saturday at Saint Louis with averages of 9.4 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks over the last five games while converting 64.5 percent (20-for-31) of his shots from the field. Of his 24 rebounds during that stretch, an astounding 54.2 percent (13-of-24) of those have come on the offensive glass. Those efforts are a key reason the Dukes rank fifth in the Atlantic 10 in offensive rebounds with an average of 11.7 per contest. Duquesne is 3-1 (.750) this season when Wilborn scores in double figures, while he ranks second on the team in dunks with 20 after posting three against VCU.
Â
Mix and Match – As Duquesne gets set for its final game of the 2024-25 regular season Saturday at Saint Louis, the Dukes have settled into a 10-man rotation that provides both length and depth. Look no further than junior forward
Matúš Hronský. Having started each of the last nine games for Duquesne, should Hronský be a member of the starting five against the Billikens at Chaifetz Arena, he will be the 10th different player on the roster this season to start at least 10 games. In all during the 2024-25 campaign, Duquesne has used nine different starting lineups, with the active leader for starts on the Bluff junior guard
Kareem Rozier with 31. Â
