SLU led by as many as five before Brewer tied it at 52-52 on a 3-pointer.

Jimerson hit Saint Louis's lone 3-pointer to give the Billikens a 57-54 lead.

It was a lead that SLU would not relinquish.

The Dukes cut it to 69-66 on a Clark III 3-pointer, before Saint Louis reeled off 11-straight points to take an 80-66 lead.

Jimerson scored seven during the run.

Clark III drilled his third 3-pointer of the half and Gunn Jr. followed with a bucket to help the Dukes cut the lead to single digits.

Grant made it 80-75 on a wing jumper and a Gunn Jr. 3-pointer cut the lead to 81-78.

DU made it a three-point game two more times - the last on another Gunn Jr. 3-pointer with :16 left.

Down 88-85 with :13.9 left, Reece deflected a SLU inbound pass in the DU backcourt, but the Dukes couldn't come up with the loose ball and Javon Pickett hit a pair of free throws for the final margin.
