- Duquesne dropped its non-conference finale on Tuesday night at Robert Morris, 14-8.
- Mackenzie Leszczynski and Haley Reeck netted goals in the opening 4:05, but a 7-0 Colonial run ensued. The Dukes trailed 7-3 at the half ... Duquesne battled back in the third quarter to make it 10-8 heading to the final 15 minutes, but was unable to find the back of the net the rest of the way.
- Hanna Pawela eclipsed the program's single-season record for caused turnovers with a game-high three bringing her season total to 59.
- Leszczynski paced Duquesne's offense with three goals, extending her scoring streak to 14 games. The junior midfielder is now one goal shy of 100 for her career after her fifth hat trick of the season.
- Reeck and freshman Charlotte Stamper finished with two goals apiece, while Kate Webb notched her first career score in the third quarter off an assist by Emelie Curtis. Stamper's brace was her first career multi-goal game and was done in three shots. Tristen Chang added the lone other assist for DU on Stamper's second goal.
NATIONAL LEADER
- Junior defender Hanna Pawela leads the NCAA in caused turnovers per game (3.93) and is third in ground balls per game (4.07).
- Pawela's NCAA-leading 59 caused turnovers this season secured a single-season Duquesne record surpassing Meghan Hungate's record from 1998 of 57 CTs.
- Pawela eclipsed 100 career CTs in the recent win vs. La Salle ... She also went over 100 career ground balls earlier this season against George Mason.
- Pawela set a new DU single-game record vs. EMU with 10 CTs - it was the most by a DI player since Elizabeth Small (Sacred Heart) had 10 against Vermont on 2/28/20.
- Pawela is the only player in Division I to have multiple games with 8-plus CTs, with four.
- Pawela has been named the A-10 Defensive Player of the Week twice this season ... Mar. 5 after posting 14 GBs and 13 CTs in a 2-0 week for DU and on Feb. 19 after her record 10 CTs and a career-high eight GBs vs. EMU.

- The top six in the league standings will qualify for the A-10 Championship Tournament hosted at Rooney Field on May 2-5.

- Saint Joseph's snapped a four-game win streak with a 10-9 loss at Davidson last Saturday.
- Goalkeeper Jorden Concordia ranks atop the A-10 with a goals against average of 10.33 ... She is top-five in Division I with a .520 save percentage and 153 saves on the season.
- The Hawks commit the third-least amount of turnovers in the NCAA this season at 11.64.
- They average 12.29 goals per game and allow 10.43.
- SJU is 5-2 at home this season with five straight wins after falling to No. 9 ranked Maryland (3-16) and Colorado (6-7) to open the 2024 campaign.
- Saint Joe's sits in fourth place in the A-10 at 4-3 with wins vs. VCU (17-10), GW (20-6), La Salle (16-6), and at St. Bonaventure (16-7) ... The losses all have been on the road at Davidson (9-10), Richmond (12-16), and UMass (11-16).

- Junior Mackenzie Leszczynski is set to hit the career century mark in her second stat this season ... She recorded her 100th career point as a Duke in the win over Akron and her next goal will be her 100th.
- Leszczynski moved into third all-time for career draw controls at Duquesne in the last game at Robert Morris, now at 161 (43 this season) ... She passed Krista Mann (160 from '03-06) ... Second all-time is 198 by Ginger Flocco ('02-05) and the career record is 252 by Maddie Hart from 2017-20.
STAT STANDOUTS
- Mackenzie Leszczynski is second in the A-10 in shots on goal per game (4.80), while ranking in the top-10 in free position goals, free position percentage, goals, points, and shots per game ... Leszczynski leads Duquesne with 44 points and is the only player with double-digit goals (32) and assists (12).
- Corinne Webb, who missed the entire 2023 season with an injury, is second on the team with 31 goals ... Webb has a team-leading seven games with 3+ goals and is third in the A-10 with a 50% free position percentage (10-for-20).

KING ME
- Junior midfielder Emily King, a transfer from Towson, raced in to score the game-winning goal in overtime at George Washington with less than two minutes to play in overtime for the Dukes' first A-10 win ... Emelie Curtis forced the extra period with a free-position goal in the final seconds of regulation.
- King leads Duquesne with 48 draw controls on the season (12th in A-10), including a career-best nine in the OT win at George Washington.
RECORDS TO NOTE
- The Dukes are 23-1 in the Desrosiers Era (since 2019) when scoring 16 or more goals ... 2-0 this season (EMU and YSU).
