WASHINGTON, D.C. – Duquesne senior
Haley Hamilton was named to the 2024 Atlantic 10 Cross Country All-Academic Team, announced by the league office on Thursday.
Hamilton finished in third place at the Atlantic 10 Championship in early November, which tied for the highest individual finish in program history, and owns a 3.84 GPA as a Physician Assistant Studies major.
The Pittsburgh native ended her Duquesne career as the team leader in 18 straight races, including all six this season. Hamilton set personal bests in the 4K, 5K, and 6K this year, highlighted by a 20:38.8 at the 6K Atlantic 10 Championship. This is the second straight year Hamilton has been recognized on the All-Academic Team.
