EARLYSVILLE, Va. – The Duquesne University women's cross country team placed fifth in the 14-team, 6k Panorama Farms Invitational on Saturday at the University of Virginia.

Haley Hamilton continued her strong senior season with a team-leading 12th place finish out of 134 competitors. Hamilton, who led the Dukes for her 16th consecutive race, crossed the line in 21:00.4.

Senior Brooke Krally was next to finish for Duquesne charted a career-best 21:42.5 in 33rd place. Gina Bolla followed close behind in 36th with a 21:47.7.

Ryley Schwalm (22:14.0 - 59th place) and Addy Ciecierski (22:23.1 - 65th place) completed the scoring for DU, as all five scorers finished in the top-half of the field.

Senior Mara Whalen's 22:34.1 was a personal best 6k time.

Duquesne will be back in action on November 2 for the Atlantic 10 Championship race at Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville, Va.
