Women's Tennis Sets 2023-24 Spring Campaign

Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Duquesne women's tennis team announced its 2023-24 spring schedule on Friday, which includes seven matches at the Alpha Tennis and Fitness of Pittsburgh.

Under the tutelage of Budi Susanto, in his second season leading the Dukes, Duquesne will feature 21 matches this spring. The Dukes open its season at West Virginia on Saturday, January 20 before hosting Western Michigan on Friday, January 26. Duquesne will travel to Cincinnati to begin the month of February before welcoming Ashland and Colgate on February 3 and February 10.

The Dukes will hit the road for a pair of road contests, opening Atlantic 10 play against Fordham in Olean, N.Y. on February 11 before traveling to Buffalo on Friday, February 16. A quick trip back to Pittsburgh is on tap for Duquesne when it hosts IUP on February 18 before they feature four straight road matches. The Dukes begin the trip at Toledo on February 23 before beginning the month of March at UNC Asheville on Friday, March 1. Duquesne features a pair of matches at Davidson University, battling Queens on Saturday, March 2 before taking on league foe and the host Wildcats on Sunday, March 3.

Duquesne returns to the Alpha Tennis and Fitness of Pittsburgh for a mid-week contest against Mercyhurst on March 13 before beginning a three-match road stint The Dukes will travel to Youngstown State on March 16 before going to Cleveland State (March 22) and Bucknell (Match 23).

The home portion of the schedule concludes for the Dukes, when it hosts Niagara on Sunday, March 31 before battling Saint Francis on Saturday, April 6. Duquesne finishes its regular season in the state of Ohio with three consecutive conference matches at Dayton University. It opens the road stint against Saint Louis on April 11 before squaring off against the Flyers (April 12) and St. Bonaventure (April 13) at the Graul Tennis Complex in Dayton, Ohio.

The Atlantic 10 Championships are set for Wednesday, April 24 – Saturday, April 27, at USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
