Box Score Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Duquesne University women's tennis team hosted Western Michigan for its home opener, dropping a 4-0 decision on Friday night at the Alpha Tennis & Fitness of Pittsburgh. With the slip, the Dukes fall to 0-2 this season while the Broncos improve to 2-1 overall.

In the singles competition, the Broncos would secure wins at the first, third, and sixth slots to capture the match win. Latoni would fall to Zieglar 6-4, 6-0 in the first position before Roka dropped a 6-4, 6-2 loss to Monko in the third singles. Senior
Ana Utrilla Benito fell to Ariane Souligny, 6-4, 6-3 in the final slot. Singles two, four, and five were recorded unfinished due to Western Michigan securing four points.
