PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne University men's and women's track and field/cross country programs had 10 student-athletes recognized on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Teams, announced Wednesday afternoon.

Laura Ehrenberger,
Haley Hamilton,
Tori Kocsis, and
Hannah Seitzinger represented the Duquesne women's team, while
Nick Fetzer,
Anthony Litrenta,
Casey Padgett,
Sam Snodgrass, and
David Williams were honored on the men's side.
Brozeski, a junior from North Huntingdon, Pa., completed her undergraduate degree in Digital Media Arts with a 3.86 GPA and posted a perfect 4.0 in her first semester of graduate school this spring, pursuing a master's in Media Arts & Technology. On the track, she took first place in the pentathlon during indoor season, then went on to win her second-straight gold medal in the heptathlon in outdoor.
Ehrenberger, a senior from McMurray, Pa., earns a spot on the Academic All-District® team for the fourth straight year. The two-time Academic All-American, will vie for a third honor after keeping her perfect 4.0 GPA in Pharamacy alive this year. Ehrenberger was named the Duquesne Student-Athlete of the Year this spring, an award voted on by coaches and athletic administrators at DU.
Hamilton, a sophomore from Pittsburgh, Pa., owns a 3.97 GPA in Physician Assistant Studies, including a perfect 4.0 this spring while she trained and secured a second-straight bronze medal in the 3000m steeplechase at the A-10 Outdoor Championships. She was also a member of the A-10 bronze medal winning and IC4A/ECAC qualifying 4x800m relay team. During indoor, Hamilton PR'd in the 1000m earning a spot in the finals at the A-10 Championships. She was the team leader finishing 17th with a PR in the A-10 Cross Country Championships and paced the squad again in the NCAA regional race.
Kocsis, a native of Johnstown, Pa., maintains a perfect 4.0 GPA in graduate school, pursuing a degree in Management. She was an IC4A/ECAC Qualifier in the 10,000m and finished 5th in the race, a week after setting a personal-best in the A-10 Outdoor Championships. She was also a top-five finisher for the Dukes in the A-10 Cross Country Championships and NCAA regional race.
Seitzinger, a junior from Belle Vernon, Pa., holds a 4.0 GPA in Physician Assistant Studies. She won the A-10 and IC4A/ECAC gold medals in the 500m during indoor season, then set two PR's in an outdoor season that was cut short due to injury. Seitzinger was also a member of the bronze-medal winning 4x400m relay team at the A-10 Indoor Championships, which also qualified for the IC4A/ECAC Championships and finished fifth.
Brozeski and Seitzinger were both selected to the A-10 Indoor All-Academic Team this winter, while Brozeski also earned a spot on the A-10 Outdoor All-Academic Team for the second straight season yesterday.
Fetzer, a sophomore from Johnstown, Pa., maintains a 4.0 GPA in Biology. He ran personal-best times, and was a top-five finisher for the Dukes, in both the Atlantic 10 and NCAA Mid-Atlantic Region Cross Country Championships.
Litrenta, a junior from New Castle, Pa., was an IC4A/ECAC qualifier in the 5000m this season, where he set a new personal best, and holds a 3.62 GPA while majoring in Finance. He also set PR's on the track in the 1,500m and 10,000m races. In the fall, Litrenta was a key member of the Dukes cross country team, as he set personal-bests in each of the last three races, including the A-10 and NCAA Mid-Atlantic Region Cross Country Championships as well as a first-place finish at the Saint Francis Red Flash Rally.
Padgett, a junior Athletic Training major from Carlisle, Pa., owns a 3.95 GPA. He recorded personal-best times in both postseason cross country races this fall (A-10 and NCAA Mid-Atlantic Region Championships).
Snodgrass was the team leader for the Dukes at the A-10 Cross Country Championships, then was second to cross the line at the NCAA regional race. As an Information Systems Management major on the Bluff, Snodgrass has a 3.63 GPA.
Williams, a sophomore Sociology major from Mechanicsburg, Pa. with a 3.99 GPA, was also recently named to the A-10 All-Academic Team. He competed in the 400m and 4x400m relay at the A-10 Championships and qualified for the IC4A/ECAC Championships in the 400m. Williams PR'd in the 400m at Bucknell this season, moving him up to third on the all-time leaderboard at DU.
All 10 Dukes are multi-year members of the A-10 Commissioner's Honor Roll, Dean's List, and DU's Vice President of Athletics Honor Roll.
The men's program tied Saint Louis with five representatives on the list to lead the A-10, while the women tied Dayton and Saint Louis for the most in the A-10.
The 10 honorees are the most Academic All-District® selections for Duquesne track and field/cross country since the women's team had three selections in 2007, '06, '04, and '02.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced May 31. The At-Large program features 22 NCAA sports and each institution is limited to nominating five student-athletes per gender.
