DAYTON, OHIO - Duquesne, as a team, qualified for the Intercollegiate Team Championship Nationals for the third time in program history and Kiearra Saldi qualified for Intercollegiate Singles Championship Nationals for the second-straight year over the weekend at Poelking Lanes South in Dayton, Ohio.

In the ITC qualifier, the Dukes finished third of 15 teams, with a 64-game baker total pinfall of 12,210, behind only North Carolina A&T and SCAD-Savannah. The Dukes will be joined by four qualifiers from the other three Sectionals which were held in held in Addison, Ill., Smyrna, Tenn. and Dallas, Texas at the ITC Nationals on April 19-22 at South Point Bowling Plaza in Las Vegas.

Saldi finished with a six-game 1,230 total to finish fourth out of a field of 154 bowlers. She joins former NTCA National Player of the Year Olivia Farwell (2018-22) as the only Duke to qualify twice.

Saldi will be among 24 women vying for an individual national title on April 17-19 in Las Vegas.

Freshman Emma Siekierski (1,126) finished tied for 28th and Shannon Small placed tied for 39th (1,105). Morgan Brookover (64th, 1,073), Brenna Gleim (93rd, 1,036) and Ranelle Ulanday (99th, 1,021) also placed among the Top 100.

Next up for the Dukes is the Northeast Conference Championship, scheduled for March 24-26 at Hamilton, Lanes in Hamilton, N.J.
