Dukes to host first tournament in program history at AMF Mt. Lebanon Lanes

Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Duquesne University bowling team unveiled its 2025-26 schedule Tuesday, which includes the first tournament in program history the Dukes will host at AMF Mt. Lebanon Lanes.

Duquesne will open its 2025-26 season with the Penguin Classic in Struthers, Ohio, at Holiday Bowl Friday, Oct. 17, through Sunday, Oct. 19. It marks the third consecutive year as well as the fourth time in the last five seasons the Dukes will open their season with the tournament hosted by Youngstown State, the defending national champion.

Also on the slate for Duquesne as part of its 2025 fall schedule is appearances at Destination Orlando (Oct. 24-26) and the Colonial Lanes Classic (Nov. 21-23) as well as the first of two Northeast Conference competitions with NEC #1 Friday, Nov. 7, through Sunday, Nov. 9, in Mount Joy, Pa., at Clearview Lanes. It marks the third straight year the Dukes are competing in Orlando, Fla., at AMF Sky Lanes, while Duquesne will make its first visit to Harahan, La., for the Colonial Lanes Classic, which is hosted by Tulane and Colonial Lanes.

The 2026 calendar year opens for the Dukes with the Northeast Classic (Jan. 16-18) in New Castle, Del., at Bowlerama before Duquesne hosts its first tournament as the program gets set to celebrate its 10th season as an NCAA Division I program in 2025-26. The Duquesne Invitational begins Friday, Jan. 30, 2026, and concludes Sunday, Feb. 1, at AMF Mt. Lebanon Lanes.

Also on the docket during the regular season for the Dukes in early 2026 is the Mount Shootout (Feb. 6-8), NEC #2 (Feb. 13-15) and the Stallings Invitational (Feb. 27-March 1) before postseason competition begins with ISC & ITC Sectionals Friday, March 13, through Sunday, March 15. The 2026 NEC Championship is set for Friday, March 20, through Sunday, March 22, and Duquesne will host the 2026 NCAA Regionals for the fourth consecutive year in early April, which will again be competed at AMF Mt. Lebanon Lanes.

Led by head coach Jody Fetterhoff, the only head coach in program history, the Dukes return four bowlers from a 2024-25 squad that posted an overall record of 58-47 (.552), including a mark of 15-9 (.625) in the NEC. Duquesne made its first appearance in the final of the NEC Championship last season, finishing with a 2-2 record and falling in three games to eventual champion FDU.

The Dukes will be led by senior Emma Siekierski and junior Maribeth Baker in 2025-26. Baker owns a career average of 198.3 in her first two seasons on the Bluff, which ranks fourth in program history. Siekierski, meanwhile, has recorded a career average of 184.0.
