PITTSBURGH – The Duquesne men's and women's tennis teams begin their respective spring schedules this weekend, as the men travel to Penn State on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. ET while the women host Cleveland State on Friday at 4:00 P.M. and Toledo on Saturday at 4:00 P.M.
Senior Jin Dassanayake, graduate transfer David Georgadze and junior Tamirlan Teberikov are experienced veterans looking to lead the men, while junior Kaipo Marshall, junior Bode Vance and redshirt sophomore Liam Wickwire also look to make an impact.
The men went 10-10 last spring and ended the season with a loss in the A-10 quarterfinals against Saint Joseph's. The Dukes beat Fordham, 4-0, in the first round.
Four of the men's first seven matches will be on the road.

Ana Utrilla Benito will continue to work towards wins as well.
The women went 11-10 in 2022 and fell to Richmond in the first round of the A-10 Championship. The Dukes won five of their last six regular season matches.
The women's matches will be held at Alpha Tennis and Fitness Center. Twelve of the women's first 13 matches will be at home.
